Join the Movement
As an organization founded with a mission to innovate for the benefit of the mental health sector and our community, we are always looking for feedback and for new partners! Want to get involved in the movement to improve mental health through youth-led innovation? Let us know below!
With over 40 mental health hubs in high schools, we are able to reach out to thousands of youth within Canada. We are always looking to expand our network of high schools and post-secondary institutions.
Leaders in these hubs have run some unique events to contribute to breaking the stigma. Some of these events include:
Mental Health Fair (with words of kindness and stigma post-it wall, “Wall of Fame” of celebrities that struggled with mental illnesses), and a puppy therapy workshop that raised money for Covenant House Vancouver by Walnut Grove Secondary School Mental Health Club
Compilation of educational videos on mental illnesses by Prince of Wales Secondary Mental Health Club
Self Care Workshop and two mental health board event with handmade mini poster with mental health challenges on it such as “walk around for 30 minutes outside today” and “drink 10 cups of water today” by Burnaby South Secondary School
